I am so glad I am finally telling you all about the wonderful time I had with Katy! I actually know her through her mother who is my favorite spin instructor in the whole wide world... Katy has her mothers beautiful smile and a heart as big as the sky! Much to my delight this Douglas Anderson High School Senior loves to sing so we spent our driving time harmonizing to Sara Bareilles.
Doesn't get any better than that!

Leann contacted me after winning the session from a silent auction. Our first try was a wash as it started to rain not long after we ascended on a super windy beach. Second time was a jem! This family is loving, lighthearted and fun... as you can see!!!

Ashley and Lauren did their shoot in St. Augustine, FL. Lauren is a sweet girl that loves big trucks and Ashley is a feisty Italian not afraid of mud and slimy rocks!

Kathleen and David were married at the River City Brewing Company in Jacksonville, FL. One is from Tennessee and the other is from Alabama. Either way they are two southern sweethearts. One of the groomsmen told me the story of how they met and interestingly, their love is a result from Katrina. They decided to get married in Jacksonville because it was sort of in the middle... I loved Kathleen's attention to detail. She had a couture flare with a wonderfully elegant style. I loved the pictures so much that I have already submitted them to the Knot Real Weddings. Congratulations again from J-ville!

Sadie & Adam got married at Oakleaf Plantation in Orange Park, FL. I have known this couple since way before they said I do... They have always been more mature than their age... They have similar interests and the same sarcastic humorous disposition... But best of all, they have been wonderful friends since High School. One day we were all hanging out and I said: "You two do realize that you like each other right?! You might want to figure that out!" Now here we are months later and Dan-dan-da-da!.. Not to say that I'm responsible... It would have happened eventually anyway... I may just have sped up the process a little with my big mouth! I love you both and congratulations!

Maggie & Christan... enough said! Beautiful girls that had a ton of fun in front of the camera... We spent some time in downtown Jacksonville near the Prime Osbourne. Lemar & Erika are going to be married in Jacksonville, FL on October 18, 2008. I've had the privilege of knowing the couple for some time and the two are simply hilarious! Lemar was adamant about getting a picture of himself in the "I believe I can fly" pose... I obliged but didn't keep that one as one of my favorites! =) They say that laughter is the best medicine and that will definitely be their choice remedy! Heath & Thu - To be married on May 24, 2009

Heath & Thu are going to be married in St Louis on May 24th, 2009. If Paula Abdul ever said anything right, she did when she said: "Opposites Attract!" He's tall, she's short. He's blonde, she's brunette... But after spending just one hour with them, even I can tell that they are the half to each other's whole. They describe themselves as silly and outgoing... Those personality traits, along with being super easy on the eyes, made them an awesome couple to work with. If Thu doesn't stop traffic with her smile, Heath will with his muscles so St. Louis better watch out!

Winova & Kevin got married at the Sawgrass Marriott in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. I must say that we really had a blast!The couple was really awesome to work with and so much fun! Despite heat and rain, a smile never left the beautiful bride's face! Kevin could not have looked more happy or proud as he introduced his new bride to the guests... Their love and friendship is definitely something to be envied! Congratulations!

Bo and Diana were married at the Casa Marina in Jacksonville Beach, FL. They were surrounded by friends and family of several generations from all over the US. They are both avid music lovers and hired Cafe' Espresso from Orlando Florida to perform for their guests. I was invited to stay to listen and am ever so grateful! The singers were entertaining and extremely talented! I was blissfully reminded of going to the opera every summer as a child... I left the wedding excited about the pictures, reminded that love is what it's all about, and feeling a tug at the heart for home.
